ENTRANCE: 250 per invited person.
* Date changed due to the 22nd is pre release weekend.Some details:
16 players are to be invited to play in the Invitationals. Twelve players will be taken from the top 8's starting July 2006 up until the March Tourney. The two Vintage Champions are automatically invited to participate in the event. Ten players will be selected based on a point system used in MTG events (Pro tour, Grand Prix).
Point System are as follows:
1st Place: 25pts
2nd Place: 20 pts
3rd-4th Place: 15 pts each
5th-8th Place: 10 pts each.
I will tally the names of all those who have top 8'ed and will have a list of players up after the March Tourney. The remaining 4, they will be randomly chosen from the other names that have top 8'ed at least once.
Tournament Format
This will be a
15 card proxy legal format. The 16 invited players will be divided randomly in 2 groups. Each group will compose of 8 players each will play round robin in their respective groups. By the end of swiss, the top 2 players with the best record from each group will proceed to the semifinals. All games will be best of 3
